As a college student I spent a large part of my day hunched over in a desk and found that my posture was seriously suffering. A friend suggested that I try Pilates to help with my new found back pain and after one class I was sold. Pilates helps to keep my body toned and has given me the strength that other exercise programs never could. Tiiu and Shanna take the time to ensure a great workout for everyone in class and they are always open to suggestions if someone wants to focus on a certain part of the body. I look forward to going to Pilates and walk out feeling confident because it is always a great experience. I recently started doing Pilates at Studio 11, and I can already see the impact it has on my health. My body is more toned and flexible, and I feel healthier. My core is especially stronger. I have also discovered that I feel more connected to my body, and that I have become very in tune with myself. The classes are personalized, and it is nice because they really help you out if you are struggling or need to work on a certain area. I feel really great when class is over because I know I did something good for myself, and I had fun doing it. I would really recommend coming here and seeing what the classes can do for you! --AJ

Dear Tiiu,
I want to tell you how Yoga and your gifted teaching has changed and improved my well-being.
In November of 2007, I sneezed and put my lower back out. The pain was intense and I suffered for almost a week and finally went to a chiropractor. My husband began pushing me to get into Yoga and that's when I found you.
So when I put my back out again with a big sneeze earlier this month, I thought here we go again with weeks of pain and a visit to the chiropractor. But with my daily Yoga and our weekly class, I was 80% pain free and each day I felt better and better. YAHOO! The recovery was much faster and I'm inspired to practice without fail.
