Thai Yoga Massage is a healing tradition that
can be traced back over 2,500 years to India and the spread of Buddhism.
It is performed on a cushion on the floor in loose and comfortable clothing.
Often described as assisted Hatha yoga, Thai Yoga Massage has many of the
same benefits as yoga. It stretches and tones the muscles, improves circulation,

system, balances the body energetically and increases mental focus.
Thai Yoga Massage
is a unique form of body work that differs from Western
massage. The Thai Yoga Massage technique uses point
pressure and muscle stretching and compression in rhythmic gentle
rocking movements rather than the kneading and continuous
strokes of Western massage. Using palms, thumbs, elbows,
knees and feet in repetitive and flowing movements,
the massage practitioner facilitates in the massage recipient
an effective release of muscular and emotional tension and promotes
deep relaxation.
